If you are a young person, aged 18-30 years old, who lives in Indonesia and is interested in climate action and renewable energy, check out the latest on Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit (I-ACT). The event is the joint initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the International Reneable Energy Agency (IRENA), collaborated with Youth for Energy Southeast Asia (Y4E-SEA) and the Society of Renewable Energy (SRE) to train Indonesian young generation about climate and energy issues. The event is as part of the European Union (EU) Green Diplomacy Week, organised by the EU Delegation to Indonesia. On behalf of Y4E-SEA, our co-founder, Amira Bilqis, is pleased to be the I-ACT Peer Educator of the event.
The event is a two-day training from 15-16 September at Italian Institute of Culture, JI. HOS Cokroaminoto 117, Menteng, Jakarta, Indonesia. The sessions in the event will be delivered in English and Indonesian Bahasa. Scholarships (which covers airfare to the nearest airport, local transportation, accommodation, per-diem, and travel insurance) will be given for the best five (05) applicants who live outside the DKI Jakarta.
