From 18-20 October 2023, we are proud to organise the ESCAP Regional Youth Forum SDG7 with BRICS Youth Energy Agency (BRICS YEA) - a youth-lead international agency focusing on leveraging youth voices in enabling energy transition in the developing world. The event is under the support from the United Nation Economic and Social Comission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), which is expected to bring together a diverse group of young energy experts with strong background in energy transition field to develop youth expertise on SDG7 on the Asia-Pacific region.
Taken place in Bangkok, Thailand, the event is under the 3rd Asian and Pacific Energy Forum (APED), where young energy experts from over the region will gather to discuss regional energy issues and launch the ESCAP Young Expert Group on Energy as a mechanism of systematic and meaningful engagement to contribute to the ESCAP work on SDG7 achievement by 2030.

Are aged 18-30,
Come from an Asia-Paciic country which is an ESCAP Member State,
Have a proven record in the energy transition filed, including policy research and/r on-site projects,
Be available to attend the full program
